Where do I start?

I’ve started a blog I think four times now in total on different sites and writing about different things. But I’ve always be worried about writing about things which could upset someone or something people would find a taboo subject.

But after a lot of thought I’ve decided to give it another go and not care about peoples opinions and write about my opinions and what I find interesting and if someone wants to read them great if not then that’s OK too.

So a little back story I’m 28 years old just bought a property which I’m currently doing up. So you will see a lot of updates around decor and the stress of renovating, I have an autoimmune condition called Lupus which I’ve suffered with from the age of 15 but was officially diagnosed at 19 years old. My condition has always been pretty unstable which led to a flare up in 2020 (worst time in history) which caused me to lose most of the function in my kidneys which led to kidney disease.

I currently work for an training provider, helping manage apprentices performance in the workplace. I’m enrolling on a a skincare VTCT level 2 course starting in September, which is the direction I’m wanting to take my career as it got massively side tracked and changed due to my condition.

I LOVE skincare and learning about new products and different types of treatments. I also really like making people but particularly women feel confident in themselves . Which is why I decided to try and change the direction of my career it to something I really enjoy, so fingers crossed this leads to something bigger. I’m not really sure what role I want in the skincare industry if this will be a facialist or something else but everyone has to start somewhere and better late then never.

I also love reading I’m a massive book nerd its very rare you find me without my kindle, so I’m sure there will be a couple of book reviews on here as well as product reviews and so on.

That’s me… or a very quick introduction anyway.
